How You Can Deal with Challenges in Your Business

Do you ever wonder why there are times in your life and business that are challenging?

In life and in business, we all come up against challenges.

Challenges of how to get to the next level of your success.
Challenge of doing something new and not knowing if it is the right thing to do.
Challenges of facing your fear(s).
Challenges in your relationships.
Or maybe you are challenged with a product or service you provide.
Or even getting more clients is challenging for you.

I like to call any Challenge the “Universal Challenge Line”.

Below is a diagram of what the universal challenge line (UCL) looks like.

Universal Challenge Line

When a challenge happens you will go towards the UCL.

Typically, when you get close or right to the challenge, at times it feels too big for what you can handle. Many people tent to turn around when they are in a challenge because it is easier to give up and turn back than it is to push yourself through it.

It is also easier to return where you know what will haven vs. the unknown when you cross the line to the other side.

One of my huge UCL was my marriage. My husband and I almost split up 3 times in our 22 years of marriage.

I am grateful now that we pushed through this UCL however it sure was not easy. Many times, we both wanted to give up. Would it have been easier for us? We thought it would be easier at the time.

Few people will absolutely push through the UCL to get to the other side of the UCL, whatever their UCL is.

Why do challenges exist?

The UCL is there for a reason. I believe it is there for the universe, God, Angels, your higher self (whatever your belief/faith) to see that you can handle the success.

The universe does not want to give you success when you can not handle it.

When you can not push through the UCL then you may not have the skills of being able to handle the success.

In business and life the more often you push through your challenges the more you push through things that you never thought you could do.

You will:

  • give yourself more confidence,
  • become wiser,
  • become more understanding,
  • have more insight of what it takes to achieve the next level of your success.

The challenges will become familiar territory and in time will no longer be challenges for you.

Anytime you come up against a challenge, I would like to encourage you to ask yourself “How can I break through this challenge?”

The more you ask yourself this question of “how can I…”, the more you will find that you will come up with some great ideas. The great ideas will come from the creative side of your brain.

Here is the thing:

When you say to yourself, “I can’t do this” you are correct.

When you say to yourself, “I can do this” you are correct.

The trick is to ask yourself, “How can I,” which will always lead you to ideas on how to push through any Universal Challenge Line you face in business and in your life.
