Are you frustrated over the lack of sales coming from your website?
This quick video takes a look at what is stopping your website, social media, and content marketing from being as effective as they could be and what you need to do to get them working for your business.
The content you create is aimed at finding users who need help in what you offer so you help them overcome something they’re struggling with.
One thing we here at eVision Media often see is entrepreneurs and small business owners sharing content and tips they think their users want. It makes sense to offer up answers to reasonable questions in your industry, but be aware that users may not actually be looking for that tip and instead are after a solution to a problem.
What we need to do as marketers for our business is to address them on what they’re looking for. Framing the content properly will help it resonate with users.
Take this eTip for example: I am not telling you what you need to do and am instead I’m addressing what you’re looking for. This tip could have been much more direct but instead I’m framing it around the context of your intentions.
Think about that the next time you’re drafting any content, whether it’s website content or your content marketing.
Address what your target market is looking for and present your content around what their intentions, what they are looking for, are as opposed to outright stating your answer.
Give that a try and see how that works with your conversions.
