We tell ourselves we’re too busy to stop and reset.
But what if that’s the very thing keeping us stuck?

Sometimes, I procrastinate writing these very Musings.

I’ll suddenly find myself answering emails, prepping a video script, or reorganizing my task list… anything that feels productive.

But deep down, I know I’m just avoiding what really needs to get done.

For me, procrastination always points to one thing: lack of clarity.

If I’m not clear on what I want to say or how to say it, I fill my day with busyness. It’s an uncomfortable feeling, too! And one that adds stress and anxiety that I definitely don’t need more of.

But I know I’m not alone in this.

Many entrepreneurs fall into the same trap. Maybe you do, too?

They think the solution to getting more leads and clients is to do more. Create more reels, post more on social media, and send more emails.

But that flurry of activity isn’t strategy. It’s just avoidance.

They’re avoiding the deeper work of clarifying their brand positioning, going deep into defining who they’re speaking to, what makes them different, and how to communicate that clearly.

I find, when I finally stop, step away from my desk, and reconnect with what really matters, which is helping entrepreneurs like you cut through confusion, it’s like a switch flips.

Clarity hits me.
The fog lifts.
And suddenly, I know exactly what to write.

That moment of clarity feels like a deep exhale. It brings me the focus, direction, and relief I need to move forward.

It’s the same feeling entrepreneurs experience when they stop “doing more” and start focusing on what truly moves the needle, which is clear, intentional brand positioning.
