7 Ways to ATTRACT Your Ideal TARGET MARKET on Your Website

finding the right clients

Has your website become too corporate and lost that personal touch?

As websites and businesses grow they can lose elements that are meant to attract your ideal clients.

Strong personal branding is essential if you want to draw in potential clients. The kinds of clients you really want to work with.

This video eTip looks at what you need to have on your website, and in your overall online strategy in order to attract your ideal clients for your business.

  1. Define your personal brand

Your first step with this is to define your personal brand. You need a firm understanding of how you want to be perceived by potential clients.

How you portray yourself is how you will be seen by others. Followers who like how you have presented yourself, your business, and your core values will be much better clients for you.

  2. Showcase your USP

What is your unique selling position? Think about industry leaders in your market. How are you different from them and what do you offer that they don’t?

These are important differences that will help the right clients choose you over any competition.

  3. Your bio on your About Us page

Your About Us page is important but so is your own About page. If you are the face of your business and working with you will be something clients can expect, then having your own page featuring your bio is important when trying to attract ideal clients.

Write your story in first person! Talk about your credentials, your experience, and work history. Your personal bio is not to sell them on your business but to draw them in based on your personality.

  4. Have a blog

The best way to reach users with your unique voice is through stories on your blog. This is a very powerful way to connect with users with your personality and share things about you and your business in your words that will resonate with your ideal clients.

If users read your blog and like you, they will be much better clients for your business.

  5. And a Vlog

A vlog is a video blog and by being on video you can really connect with potential clients. Share your values, what you are passionate about, and even parts of your personal life.

Video stories in your voice accompanied by text of the post’s content are a really powerful way to show off who you are and by doing so you’ll get clients who want to work with the real you.

  6. Showcase your community involvement

At eVision Media we have a page dedicated to any community involvement we’ve supported over the years. If you’ve done anything in terms of giving back to your community let your users know!

These kinds of events can be anything you’ve volunteered with or offered your services to that shows who you are. Who you choose to volunteer with and commit your time to can really help potential clients make a decision about whether or not you are ideal for them.

  7. Use social media

Social media is your best way to showcase your personal brand.

Cross reference your social media efforts with your website and make sure they are both interconnected with easy-to-follow paths back and forth between the two.

When users are on your social media profiles they should be able to easily find your website and vice versa.

This is easier said than done because social media can be overwhelming and complicated! To help with that we have a social media program called AMPLiFY! Business Academy where I share tips and tricks on using social media, newsletters, content marketing an more to grow your business.

If you’re a struggling at all with using social media to build your business or you just want to improve your skills try coming by our monthly membership program and you’ll learn everything you need to master your online marketing and social media. What Clients Say

Susan started from day one explaining where we were going, how we were going to get there and was very direct and honest if something I was suggesting might deter us. She spent the time to really understand what I wanted and where my audience is and proceeded to help me move there with dedication, professionalism and real skill. Honestly, I’ve got some real clarity on what’s next and I attribute that to Susan being the necessary set of extra eyes that could see things I could not.

The whole team is great…couldn’t have done it without them.
