Whether you are aware of the Law of Attraction or not, it is always in motion. You used it to attract this article you are reading! Maybe you ‘think’ you didn’t, but I will explain how you did.
This is a simple definition of the Law of Attraction from Michael Losier‘s book Law of Attraction:
I attract to my life whatever I give my attention, energy or focus to, whether wanted or unwanted.
The Law of Attraction may not be a new literary phenomenon (see Resources), but the concept has only recently gained in popularity in the 21st century. It is a universal law, like the law of gravity: one that you may not be able to see, but you know exists.
There is actually a physiological scientific foundation to support the belief in the Law of Attraction based on electrons in atoms giving off certain energy. This energy has a vibration, which creates either a positive or a negative atmosphere. You are always giving off one or the other, but you cannot give off both at the same time. As ‘like attracts like’, you will tend to attract the same energy that you are giving out, whether positive or negative. This is also called ‘manifesting’.
Your next question might be, “Well how do I know when I am doing that?” The answer is that you are doing it constantly, with every ‘word’ you say or ‘think’. Coupled with this is the energy that you are giving off with your ‘feelings’. Your feelings, too, have either positive or negative energy attached to them.
A simple example could be explained in this scenario: imagine that you have been awakened early in the morning by the sound of construction on a new building across the street. You think some negative thoughts, and you have some negative feelings. You decide to get up because you are awake now (even though you wanted to sleep in on this Saturday) and you step on the cat’s tail and bang into the door at the same time.
Positive or negative thoughts happening here? Next, you go to make your coffee and you find out you are out of coffee. Great, what’s next! I think you can guess what may come next, and it’s not going to be great.
But, in a way this is great! Because now, you have the choice to change what’s going on for you. You can do that by changing the words you are thinking and the feelings you are having. It is a choice, pure and simple, although I agree that it is not always easy.
This is called ‘deliberate creation’, meaning that you now realize you do create your world and you can change it. So, for the time being, pay attention to the words you are thinking, the thoughts that arise from them and the feelings associated with them. Make a fresh pot of coffee, take some time to visualize what you want the rest of the day to look like and get a great ‘gut feeling’ of the amount of happiness latent in the day that you curate.

I will walk you through a process that will allow you to be crystal clear on what it is you do want in your life, and what you are prepared to no longer have in your life.

Losier’s Law of Attraction is one of the best ‘How To’ use the law of attraction books.
